Meeting Marian as a young teacher at Cardinal Wiseman School was one of the best things in my life: I found a true friend. She was warm, open and engaging, and had an elegant, but relaxed, style. Our conversations were full of humour and she could always be relied upon to give her honest opinion. I will treasure the memory of her wit and laughter. My love to David, Marie, Emma and all the family.

Remembering times with cousin Marian together when you visited Kilmore East. Time playing on the farm, trying to get Marian on our horse, to milk the cows and run wild in the fields. Wonderful memories.

My thoughts are with Marian's loving family at this sad time but whilst one door has closed for them another one was swiftly opened. Enjoy each others support and comfort and think yourselves fortunate to have loved and been loved by Marian.
